A2 Where English uses words like “under”, “behind” or “after” before a noun, Finnish usually puts them after the noun, which is in the genitive (-n form): pöydän alla (under the table), joulun jälkeen (after Christmas).
ইংরেজিতে “under”, “behind”, “after” শব্দের আগে বসে, কিন্তু ফিনিশে এগুলো সাধারণত শব্দের পরে বসে, আর শব্দটা থাকে genitive (-n রূপ) রূপে: pöydän alla (টেবিলের নিচে), joulun jälkeen (বড়দিনের পরে)। ঠিক বাংলার মতো: “টেবিলের নিচে”!

Place postpositions have three forms, just like the location cases.

Olin eilen ystävän luona. — I was at a friend’s place yesterday. · কাল আমি এক বন্ধুর বাসায় ছিলাম।

Some come before the word: + partitive · কিছু শব্দের আগে বসে: + পার্টিটিভ
A few words come before the noun and use the partitive: ennen (before), ilman (without), kohti (towards).
কয়েকটি শব্দ বিশেষ্যের আগে বসে আর পার্টিটিভ নেয়: ennen (আগে), ilman (ছাড়া), kohti (দিকে)।

With personal pronouns, the postposition usually gets a possessive suffix: minun kanssani (with me), sinun vieressäsi (next to you). In spoken Finnish: mun kanssa.
ব্যক্তিবাচক সর্বনামের সাথে অনুসর্গে সাধারণত অধিকারবাচক প্রত্যয় বসে: minun kanssani (আমার সাথে), sinun vieressäsi (তোমার পাশে)। কথ্য ফিনিশে: mun kanssa।
