- Keep it short: 1–2 pages, clear and easy to scan.
- Start with a short profile describing who you are and what you’re looking for.
- List your work history and education with the most recent first.
- Include your language skills honestly (e.g. Finnish A2, English fluent, Bengali native).
- A professional photo is common in Finland, but optional.
3. Write a tailored application
প্রতিটি চাকরির জন্য আলাদা আবেদনপত্র
Finnish employers value honesty and concrete examples. Write a short cover letter (työhakemus) for each job. Explain why you want this job and give real examples of what you’ve done. Avoid exaggeration.
4. Use your network

ইন্টারভিউয়ের প্রস্তুতি
- Be on time. In Finland, arriving late makes a bad impression.
- Answer honestly and to the point. Modesty is valued, but don’t undersell yourself.
- Research the company beforehand and prepare a few questions to ask.
- A firm handshake and eye contact are normal.
7. Start where you can
যেখান থেকে সম্ভব শুরু করুন
Your first job in Finland may not be your dream job, and that’s normal. Temporary work through staffing agencies, summer jobs or traineeships help you gain Finnish work experience and references, which make the next step much easier.
